One of the world’s most exclusive car brands is currently launching its latest model at a prestigious Western Cape wine estate.
Minister of Economic Opportunities Alan Winde said Rolls-Royce would be unveiling their latest model, Dawn, at a global media launch at the Delaire Graff Estate until 25 March.
“It’s fitting that one of the world’s most iconic motor cars should host its global launch in the Western Cape. This is excellent promotion of our province, with the event attracting international media. It’s a great opportunity to showcase our region.” Minister Winde said the event was excellent news for the tourism sector.
“We know that tourism is our fastest growing sector. It employs 204 000 people in formal jobs. Through Project Khulisa, we have set ourselves the goal of adding up to a further 100 000 jobs to the sector.”
In a media statement, Rolls-Royce said the upmarket wine estate, offering fine wine and a breathtaking location, was a natural fit for its clients.
